The Coombe Women’s Hospital.

My older sister was on a maternal visit in the Coombe Women’s hospital last Wednesday. Nothing much has changed, still the same dreaded long queues.
I’d so hate to be back there again, especially now and if its not bad enough that your waiting ages to be seen by a doctor, now you can’t even get a seat.
My sister was absolutely appalled when she witnessed men who were waiting on their partners, sitting comfortably in the seats supposedly allocated for the pregnant women waiting to be seen.
Why on earth doesn’t anybody open their mouths anymore??????
If I were there I’m sure I would have been dragged out by security for whooshing the lot of them up.
I don’t understand why people just sit back and swallow.

Sunny Days

Whatever it is about the sun shining, and bright evenings it really lifts your spirit. Its great to see people actually smiling again . I’m convinced there is a secret power in the sun that just brings out the best in us…well most of us that is :) …….. Oh Bring on the Summer!!!

Parenting..

I have been on MySpace for over a year, i don’t really use it a lot but every now and then its nice to talk to people you never know who you would meet. I was just browsing the net one day and I came across this site www.minti.com, I was so impressed. This website totally dedicated to parenting and children. i think its pretty cool, as some people love talking about their children and of course are often seeking advice from other parents in similar situations, It really helps you knowing your not the only parents out there that are still learning, I wreckon with children we will always be learning , as each and everyday faces us with a new challenge. I have just become a member and I am looking forward to learning the different ways and tasks of parenting..:-/

Pay It Forward!!

I watched the movie Pay It Forward on saturday and was overwhelmed with the dept and storyline. It is a really fantastic and touching movie. Kevin Spacey and Helen Hunt play magnificently but Cole Sear plays an amazing part, his acting is absolutley superb.
I was  quite uplifted by this movie but I was even more uplifted when I discovered that there is in fact an actual Pay It Forward movement. Its really nice to think of a world that cares and that there are angels among us that will continue to inspire others and put a little faith in life.
